Jeremy Bikes NEALS 30th Anniversary Ride
Follow my journey as I bike from Pittsburgh to Washington D.C. to celebrate 30 years of NEALS

Day 3… 80 miles, my record so far. It’s interesting to be riding for a benefit; at one rest stop the pizza owner gave us free pizza, at the second, the gas station owner’s daughter had MS. Camping on the beach tonight.

Day two was only 50 miles but lots of up-and-down. Camden, Maine is beautiful and it was cold but didn’t rain. Tomorrow is 80 miles, which is by far my longest ride ever. We’ll see…

Day 1 in the books. My riding companions are great; some young, some retired, most are return riders. Maine is beautiful but frigid and rainy today.

I’m in Bar Harbor and am tuning up for the start of the big ride on Tuesday. Acadia national Park is a beautiful place to start from!

Welcome to my blog, where I will record my journey from Bar Harbor, Maine to Seattle, Washington. I leave in just over a week, so my training is done and I’m getting ready to ship out! Stay tuned to learn more about why I’m biking, how I’ve prepared, and what’s in store!
